The filter transmission as measured by Rodrigo for the B, V, VE1 and VE2 filter up to 800 nm and the IRCUT filter for a much wider range as given by the manufacturer.

We chose VE1 as well as IRCUT even though they are quite similar so that nobody could say ‘oh, well, you did not use the same filter as BBSO’ – a sort of insurance policy! 🙂 The IRCUT filter is the exact same as BBSO uses.
Thanks Henriette, that’s very useful. VE2 is very similar to I band — that explains the photometric results on the open cluster M41 perfectly. VE1 and IRCUT don’t seem to be very different. Do you know why we have both – is there a major difference which is not obvious from these tracings? The good correlation of VE1 with V is also makes sense, as it brackets it by about the same amount on each side.
